Since the beginning of this year, the NHBOS Fonds has two new board members: Abe Veenstra and Rens Wijnakker. Abe Veenstra is an independent landscape architect and recently appointed provincial advisor for spatial quality for the province of Utrecht. Within the fund, he will take over the role of chair from Annemieke Fontijn. Rens Wijnakker is a landscape architect and partner at FABRICations, and recently served as a jury member for the Yearbook Landscape Architecture and Urban Design by Blauwe Kamer. Rens will become treasurer, succeeding Wilke Diekema.

We are very pleased to welcome these two new board members and would like to extend our sincere thanks to Annemieke and Wilke for their tremendous dedication to the fund over the past years. Partly thanks to their efforts, the NHBOS Fonds has been able to support many landscape architecture students and professionals in their development. They were also involved in some upcoming changes to better position the fund within the current landscape architecture field. More on that soon!  

In addition to Abe Veenstra and Rens Wijnakker, the board consists of Inge Bobbink, Hanneke Kijne and Dirk Oudes.
